Use the tab all photographers to display a list of all photographers registered with WHEREABOUTONLINE. There you can simply click the add button to attribute stars to your favourites. Selecting favourites is very important as it increases the relevance of your hit lists when you search for whereabouts. Once you indicate a location (i.e. a country or a city) and the time window required, the results for your search show up both on a map and as a list. The filter criteria on display limit the hit list to a specific business category (e.g. fashion or landscape). The list also shows all photographers available on site. The list first features your favourite photographers, followed by those with the highest popularity (i.e. other people's favourites). So even if you do not know a photographer, you know that many other editors are happy to work with that person. This goes to show just how important it is to select your own favourites.
